Be Still & Know that He is God
This video was made in early 2018, following a school shooting in Parkland, Florida. On February 14, 2018, a young gunman opened fire at Stoneman Douglas High School, killing 17 people and injuring another 17. The 19-year-old gunman was a former Douglas High School student. To date, the gunman’s senseless act ranks among one of the worst school shootings in U.S. history. Clearly, school shootings and classroom lockdowns are on the rise, from elementary school to college. No school seems “safe”. We have family members and friends who are teachers, as well as youngsters who are in school. So in addition to hearing the students’ terrifying stories, we also hear the frightening stories from the educators themselves.
